- About Me
- I am Charles Sylvanus Boye Jr. I am a graduate in Peace and Conflict Studies and presently a Human right Activist. I have being in advocacy for the past six years since i was a child. Because of my contribution to my country when i was a child activist and was one of the founding member and was the National Organizing Secretary for the Children's Forum Network which is the unbrella Organization that represent the voices of the Children in Sierra Leone to both the government and stakholders, I have become high personality in my country and have recieved great honor National and International Level. I have represented my country at the international world and have brought glory to my nation and my people.
Recently i was awarded as an Ambassador for the Special Court for Sierra Leone to the Hague, Netherlands to witness the trial of the formal president of Liberia Mr. Charles Taylor. As a young youth age 22, i felt proud and it motivated me to do more. I alo got the honor to be selected as a Country Representative for a reputable youth Organization, which is the African Youth Unite for Change and its Headquater is in Nigeria. Presently we are embarking on serious project for War Affected Youth in the Post War African Countries. We are going round to see how we can help librate the lives of these War Affected Youth and encourage them to involve in change project in their various countries.
As the Coordinator of CAI, I want to welcome you all and hope we would help make a better world fit for the Children and our Children that are yet unborn.
Our little contribution towards this Organization will go a long way and history will never foreget about us.

UNICEF:Report Highlights Risk of Maternal Mortality in Developing World
A new report on maternal mortality, released by UNICEF has highlighted the risks faced during pregnancy and childbirth by women in developing countries.
